What is a Sump Pump?

A sump pump is a specialized device installed in the lowest part of a basement or crawl space. It collects excess groundwater or rainwater in a sump pit and pumps it away from the building, preventing flooding and structural damage. When heavy rains hit or the water table rises, the sump pump activates automatically, giving homeowners and businesses peace of mind.

Why Sump Pumps Are Important in Garner

Garner’s weather can bring heavy rainfall, which often leads to flooding in basements and crawl spaces. Without a functioning sump pump, water buildup can cause:

• Flooding and property damage

• Mold and mildew growth

• Structural weakening of foundations

• Damage to stored belongings and equipment

• Higher humidity levels indoors

By installing and maintaining a sump pump, you protect not only your property but also the health and safety of your family or employees.

I've used Bizzy Bee on other occasions and been quite satisfied. Called them again on an unrelated issue and they were here in a couple of hours, fixed the problem and were on their way. Reasonably priced.

Chris was prompt and professional. We needed help fast and he was able to come over within an hour. I know nothing about plumbing and he took the time to explain how my sump pump works so I would know what to keep an eye on. The service was excellent and the rate was perfect. I would definitely recommend!

**** update 9/2025! Had them out again, this time assisted by a super friendly Brandon! I had a troublesome kitchen clog (thanks to an old house) but Brandon was patient the whole time as he worked through my issue. I even decided to upgrade a few things soon as the service was just that good. Thanks Brandon and Bizzy bee!!

Excellent service and integrity are the first things that come to mind when someone asks about my experience with Bizzy Bee Plumbing. From the appointment setting to the initial quote and job completion, every part was executed with integrity and efficiency. During the repairs, there were 6 separate personnel that worked on my house and everyone was knowledgeable about their job but also polite and respectful of my property. I would definitely say this was one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve ever had with a plumbing company.
